Spring Beauty Trends: Red Lips

Spring is here and everyone is seeing red! This season red has been dubbed THE colour of the moment to be wearing on your lips. Models and Celebrities alike have been rocking this style lately and we’re loving the attitude that comes with a scarlet pout.

While this might sound daunting to some who haven’t done the daring colour before, it’s all about finding the right shade for your colouring. I was also pretty scared when I first tried out a bright red lip, but once I got come shades that worked with my skin tone, hair colour and eye colour, I was quickly converted to a lover of the crimson hue.

If you’re still not convinced ruby reds would work on you, a red lip tint is all you need to stay up to date with the current trend without stepping too far out of your comfort zone. There’s no strict policy as to which colours work best on who, so you will just have to hit up your local makeup counter and start trying them out!

Just make sure with this Makeup trend that you channel Chloë Sevigny and go for a neutral palette everywhere else on the face. Keep eye makeup to a minimum and just add a dash of bronzer to the cheekbones for a flawless and fresh look.
