A weekly deep clean is a great way to combat breakouts. Only use lukewarm water for cleaning your face though, hot water can be too harsh on your skin and actually end up drying it out (weird, I know!).
Beauty Sleep is important – try for 8 hours so your skin has some time breathe and recover from the stresses of the day. Don’t be tempted to hit the pillow without taking off your make-up & the day’s dirt though. That is a one-way ticket to blackheads, breakouts and dull looking skin. Always cleanse your skin and slather on a healthy dose of moisturiser before you jump into bed – that way your pores don’t get clogged and unhappy.
Don’t skip moisturisers, even if you have oily skin. There are heaps of non- greasy moisturisers that won’t clog your pores. Every skin type needs moisturiser, the trick is to find one that suits your skin type.
