Celebrity Cheats: For Eyes

Here are some tricks that the celebs use in eye makeup for their red carpet moments:

1- If you have a bit of trouble with eye shadow application or can’t seem to get colours right, start with neutral tones. Neutral or earthy tones suit any eye colour, and any complexion. They make your eyes pop without making you look like a drag queen and they are a lot easier to blend than darker tones.

2- Fill in your brows. Even if you are fortunate enough to be sporting brows like Brooke Shields it’s a good idea to define your brows as this will frame your peepers and create a more finished look. Using a taupe or light brown eyebrow pencil gently feather along your brow line being careful not to draw too thickly. To achieve a totally natural look brush your brows before and after applying the eyebrow pencil.

3- A trick that makeup artists use is lining your bottom lash line with white eyeliner. It makes your eyes appear bigger and make any colour on your top lid pop! Tip: make sure you still use mascara or you could look washed out.
