High School Formals

Tips to achieve beautiful Formal Skin

Have a fab skincare regime ready to roll.  Start your program 8 weeks prior to formal to see the full results – and stick at it for beautiful skin!

Keep your routine regular – cleanse and moisturise morning and night, and exfoliate once or twice a week.  If you are introducing different products every day, your skin can get confused – give each product time to work. Clean & ClearŪ has products in their range for every skin type- visit their website www.bestfriends.com.au to see which product is best for your skin.

For super smooth skin exfoliate your body – this will help you have sparkling skin for your formal

SPF – to avoid embarrassing sunburn or peeling skin make sure you protect your skin during lunchtime and after school – the Clean & ClearŪ Morning GlowTM moisturiser is a great choice.

Pack a healthy lunch – bad food may not cause pimples directly, but junk can leave you with dull-looking skin.  Make sure you eat fruit to pep your skin up with vitamins.

Water is essential – staying hydrated will make your skin fresh and healthy-looking.

Give your face a deep clean, but don’t use very hot water; it’s too harsh on your skin.  Go for water that’s lukewarm and use an exfoliant.

Beauty Sleep is essential – try for 8 hours so your skin has to recover from the stresses of the day.  Don’t be tempted to hit the pillow without taking off your make-up & the day’s dirt.  Always cleanse your skin then moisturise before you jump into bed – that way your pores don’t get clogged leading to breakouts.

Don’t skip moisturisers, even if you have oily skin. Your should try to use an oil-free moisturiser that will help to balance your skin moisture level

Handy Tips for Clean, Clear, Beautiful Skin:

  • Change your pillowcase every couple of nights, we sweat during our sleep, so a fresh pillow means a fresh face!
  • Use a make-up wipe to clean your mobile phone at least twice a week – you’ll be surprised at all the gunk and dirt on there!

No one has perfect skin.  A few imperfections are totally normal, so don’t let them get you down, and remember – true beauty comes from the inside
